Putin: Numerous countries contributed to prisoner swap between West and Russia

Numerous countries have contributed in the prisoner exchange process between the West and Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum, Report informs, citing the local press.
He thanked Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud for his help in the negotiations that made the exchange possible.
On August 1, Russia and the United States exchanged prisoners in Türkiye. The exchange covered 26 people imprisoned in Russia, the United States, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Norway and Belarus. Ten of them, including two children, who were released, were sent to Russia, thirteen to Germany, and three to the US.
