Law-abiding migrants must see no problems processing their documents, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the final board session of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"We are glad to everyone who comes to study, work and live in Russia. All migrants who comply with the Russian laws and respect our culture and traditions should be able to freely draw up all the necessary documents without any bureaucratic delays," Putin said.
Meanwhile, he added that severe punishment measures should be taken in relation to illegal migrants and the activities of criminal gangs.
