Western sanctions against Russia, as well as Belarus, will be imposed in any case, and the reason will be found, Russian President Vladimir Putin told a presser following his talks with Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenko, TASS reports.
According to him, the pressure of sanctions was completely illegitimate and a gross violation of international law.
The Russian President said that the country will put national interests first and act as it wishes.
"Of course, we are watching what is happening in the world, but we have clear, understandable instructions that meet the national interests of the Russian people and the state," Putin said.
