Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan: Gulnara Karimova continues to serve her sentence

Baku. 2 October. REPORT.AZ/ Gulnara Karimova, the eldest daughter of the first president of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, continues to serve her sentence in accordance with the court verdict, representative of the Prosecutor General of the Republic told RIA Novosti.

Report informs that  Iman Karimova, the daughter of Gulnara Karimova, earlier posted a photo of the boarding pass for the flight from Istanbul to London on September 29 on her Instagram blog. She also wrote, 'Mom (Gulnara Karimova - ed.) is now home.'

"Gulnara Karimova is serving a sentence in the prescribed manner”, representative of the Prosecutor General’s Office said. Other details are not disclosed. Earlier, a representative of the agency confirmed that Iman Karimova left Uzbekistan without hindrance.
