President of Northern Cyprus hospitalized

The President of Northern Cyprus, Tufan Erhürman, has been hospitalized, Report informs, citing TRT Haber.

"During an event held at the former presidential residence in the capital, Lefkoşa, Erhürman's condition deteriorated and he was transported by ambulance to the cardiology department of Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital, where he received medical treatment," the report said.

The office of the Northern Cypriot leader stated that his condition worsened due to a drop in blood pressure.
