Peskov: Russia and US engaged in intense work on Ukrainian settlement

Russia and the United States are engaged in intense work on resolving the situation in Ukraine, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, Report informs via Russian media.

"There is very intense work underway with the US on Ukraine. We understand that Washington wants rapid progress in settling the Ukraine issue, but the process is too complex for such an outcome," he noted.

Peskov also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin supports the establishment of a ceasefire, but a number of issues need to be resolved first.
