A preferential gas price for Armenia could shift to a market-based formation if the country decides to leave the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said during a briefing, according to Russian media outlets cited by Report.
"We have heard statements from the Armenian leadership that there is a very attractive, more than preferential price for Russian gas and energy resources. Such a regime is not possible for participants of other integrations - the European Union, of course. There, prices are in a completely different category - market-based. This is well known to our friends in Yerevan," Peskov said.
