Peskov: Hungary not considered as negotiation platform for Russia, Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban did not discuss the possibility of using Hungary as a platform for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Izvestia newspaper, Report informs.
"No. This issue has not been discussed. There are no negotiations yet," he stressed.
Earlier Peskov told reporters that during a phone conversation with Putin on December 11, Orban proposed a large-scale prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine and suggested a Christmas ceasefire.
Kyiv rejected Budapest's initiative.
