Pashinyan: 'We are interested in international communication from Armenia and Azerbaijan to third countries'

Yerevan is interested in opening transport communications in the region, as well as international communication from Armenia to third countries through the territory of Azerbaijan, and from Azerbaijan to third countries through the territory of Armenia, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference, Report informs via Armenian media.

"We are interested in bilateral trade turnover, international communication from Armenia to third countries through the territory of Azerbaijan, from Azerbaijan to third countries through the territory of Armenia, as well as transit exchange," he noted.

The prime minister added that Armenia is considering the issue of unblocking communications in the context of territorial integrity.

"In all our discussions on unblocking communications, we have represented, represent, and will represent the country's interests in the context of the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of the Republic of Armenia. We have never held discussions that would be divorced from our territorial integrity or contradict this agenda," he noted.
