Pashinyan says Papikyan, Sargsyan will retain ministerial posts

Suren Papikyan will be reappointed as Armenia's defense minister, while Arpine Sargsyan will again be appointed interior minister, Report informs, citing Armenian media.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the decision at a briefing following a meeting of the board of the Civil Contract party.
Papikyan has served as defense minister since November 15, 2021, while Sargsyan has held the post of interior minister since November 20, 2024.
Pashinyan also said Lilit Makunts would be appointed Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister's Office.
Makunts has served as chief adviser to the prime minister since August 29, 2025. From 2021 to 2025, she was Armenia's ambassador to the United States.
