Pashinyan nominates new candidate for chief of General Staff

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has submitted a petition to President Armen Sarkissian for the appointment of Artak Davtyan as chief of the General Staff, Pashinyan’s spokesperson Mane Gevorgyan said, Report informs referring to Sputnik Armenia.
Chief of the General Staff Onik Gasparyan was relieved of his post, as the president of Armenia didn’t sign the prime minister’s decree on his dismissal in time, and didn’t appeal to the Constitutional Court, either.
