"It is impossible not to appreciate the agreement with Azerbaijan. It is an important agreement, and I hope that we will implement it accurately. This vital project will change the region's economic, political, and security environment," Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government meeting on the Arazdeyen-Julfa-Ordubad-Mehri-Horadiz railway project.
Report informs that, according to him, attention should be paid to resolving this issue shortly.
The PM also noted that an agreement had been reached with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to continue contacts on matters on the bilateral agenda.
Pashinyan said that the Gyumri-Kars railway could be launched if an agreement is reached with Turkey to open borders and communications.
