Pakistan army chief to visit Tehran on August 24

A delegation led by Pakistan's army chief, Asim Munir, will visit Tehran on August 24, according to a statement issued by Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Report informs.

The visit will reportedly contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iran and Pakistan, as well as continuing Islamabad's efforts to promote peace and security in the region.

During the visit, the Pakistani delegation will hold meetings with senior Iranian officials.
