PACE adopts resolution on release of Alexei Navalny

The spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted a resolution on the arrest of Alexei Navalny.
According to Report's French bureau, the organization called on Russia to implement the court's decision and release Navalny in a document entitled "Detention and arrest of Alexei Navalny."
The resolution also states that he should be provided with the necessary medical care, and his rights should be fully respected.
Besides, the document includes some recommendations such as creating conditions for the Committee for the Prevention of Torture to visit Navalny's detention center, the cooperation of the Russian delegation to PACE with the organization on implementing the resolution other similar recommendations.
