Overchuk: Armenia should weigh all factors before deciding between EAEU, EU

When deciding whether to leave the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in order to gain membership in the European Union (EU), Armenia should weigh all factors, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk told journalists, Report informs.

"Nikol Vovaevich Pashinyan recently said that it is impossible to be a member of the EAEU and the EU at the same time. And if such a decision is ever made, I am sure that a variety of factors influencing the decision-making in one direction or another will be weighed," Overchuk said.

Last week, the Armenian prime minister said that Yerevan understands the impossibility of simultaneous membership in the EAEU and the EU.

"When the moment of inevitability of choice comes, we will make an appropriate decision," he noted.
