Over 2,400 people detained in Kazakhstan’s Almaty after riots

Kazakh law enforcement agencies have detained more than 2,400 people in Almaty for participation in illegal protests, looting and other crimes, Report informs citing TASS.
“A total of 2,402 participants on illegal actions, looting and other crimes have been detained since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation. A total of 79 units of firearms and 3,976 units of ammunition have been seized,” the report says.
