Number of COVID cases decreases in Russia

Over the past day, about 16,000 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Russia - this is the lowest number since June 17 last year, Report informs referring to the data of the Operational Task Force to combat the disease.
“There are 15,903 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in 84 regions, including 1,196 (7.5 percent) without clinical manifestations,” reads the report.
During the day, 834 patients with COVID-19 died, during the entire time of the pandemic, 312,187 people succumbed to the disease in Russia. This is while 27,071 people were discharged from hospitals – 9,575,147 in total.
