Nikol Pashinyan accuses opposition of preparing military intervention

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan believes that the country's opposition, represented by former President Robert Kocharyan and head of the Tashir Group Samvel Karapetyan, desires the deployment of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) peacekeepers to the republic, Report informs, citing Interfax.

Addressing the opposition parliamentary factions "Armenia" and "Strong Armenia," Pashinyan ruled out any deployment of foreign forces.

"Your goal is for CSTO peacekeepers to enter Armenia. There will be no CSTO peacekeepers, and there will be no foreign peacekeepers at all. There will not be any because peace has been established, and because the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan are the best peacekeepers," Pashinyan said in parliament.
