Mirzoyan: Armenia interested in normalization with Azerbaijan, Türkiye

Armenia is interested in establishing peace in the South Caucasus, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said in an interview with China Global Television Network (CGTN), Report informs via Armenian media outlets.
"We strive to establish peace not only at our borders but also in other regions and wider geographies. In this sense, our approaches are very close to China's approaches. We are negotiating with Azerbaijan," he noted.
According to Mirzoyan, the parties have agreed on a draft peace agreement.
"Now we are ready to sign this agreement and then ratify it. At the same time, we are trying to normalize our relations with Türkiye, which is our western neighbor," the minister said.
