Members of the Georgian government and parliament will be involved in the COVID-19 vaccination process, said Giorgi Gibradze, head of the operational staff of the Interagency Coordination Council.
He said this was due to Georgia's joining the World Immunization Week.
Gibradze stressed that government officials would be inoculated starting this week.
In Georgia, the prime minister, several ministers, and about 20 MPs have contracted the coronavirus. Some MPs have already been vaccinated in public.
