Baku. 14 January. REPORT.AZ/ "Turkey is threatened with economic sanctions on the one hand, and terrorism on the other hand," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said at a joint news conference with Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn on January 14 while commenting on the bellicose statement of US President Donald Trump on Turkey.
"This nation says that it will remain hungry, but not bend the knee as it was in Çanakkale war," he said. "As a state, we will do whatever is necessary. We consider it wrong that Donald Trump made statements and voiced threats in such a way," Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said.
Notably, US President Donald Trump threatened Turkey with economic sanctions.
