Media: Most Armenians living below poverty line support establishing good relations with Türkiye

A bigger part of the 3-million Armenian population that lives below the poverty line in Armenia supports establishing good relations with Türkiye, according to an article published in the Turkish Star newspaper, Report informs.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's desire to resolve diplomatic issues with Türkiye on the basis of "friendly neighborly relations" receives negative response from the Armenians who live in the United States and other countries.

The author believes that the Armenian diaspora opposes this in every way and the Armenian lobby does not care about the Armenians but instead serves the interests of imperialist powers:

"However, the majority of the 3-million Armenian population living in poverty in Armenia is in favor of establishing good relations with Türkiye. The clearest proof of this is the fact that the number of Armenian citizens who work illegally in Türkiye and send their earnings to their families in Armenia exceeds 100,000."
