Leaders of Russia, Kazakhstan sign joint statement, action plan

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Russian President Vladimir Putin have signed a joint statement and a plan for joint action for 2024-2026 following talks in Astana, Report informs referring to TASS.

During the ceremony, the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan inked a joint statement on the 10th anniversary of the Treaty on Good Neighborliness and Alliance in the 21st century and a plan for joint action for 2024-2026.

The two countries’ energy ministries signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation on projects to build combined heat and power plants (CHPP) in three cities in Kazakhstan.
