Lavrov, Rubio to convene at UN General Assembly in New York

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will meet soon in New York.

According to Report, citing Russian media, Lavrov announced the meeting today.

He stated that the meeting with Rubio will take place within the framework of the UN General Assembly: "My meeting with Secretary of State Rubio in New York during the General Assembly is planned," the Russian Foreign Minister emphasized.

Lavrov added that the situation in Ukraine will be discussed during the talks.
