Lavrov: CSTO to consider possible Afghan attack on Tajikistan

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), in case of an attack on Tajikistan from the border with Afghanistan, will urgently discuss this incident, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said July 7 at the Far Eastern Federal University with a lecture on “Russia’s international activities for the development of Russian regions,” Report informs referring to TASS.
“If there is an attack on Tajikistan, of course, it will be immediately considered in the CSTO,” he said.
