Large-scale exercises start in Iran

Large-scale 'self-sacrifice' exercises involving representatives of combat battalions and various segments of the population began in Tehran and other cities of Iran on September 18, Report informs referring to the Tasnim news agency.

The events began with a parade in Tehran, which was attended by 313,000 people.

During the ceremony, Iranian-made unmanned aerial vehicles were presented, and the country's technological achievements in UAV development were demonstrated.

According to the Tehran municipality, about 500,000 people registered to participate in the exercises.
