Kyrgyz president donates his house to those in need

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has handed over his house in favor of people who need to improve their living conditions, Report informs referring to the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper.
Japarov’s family lived in this two-story house for five years. He donated the building to the balance sheet of the state mortgage company.
This home is expected to be up for auction soon. The proceeds will be used to provide apartments for ten families in need.
The president also urged wealthy Kyrgyz citizens to follow his example.
“Everyone knows that many residents of the republic go abroad to earn a living. We need to make housing affordable for all citizens, regardless of the type of activity,” Japarov said.
