Kazakh oil-producing companies have temporarily adjusted their daily production volumes due to intake restrictions in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) pipeline system, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
Loading operations at the consortium's offshore terminal in the Black Sea have been suspended to ensure the safety of vessels, crews, and the environment, according to the ministry.
The temporary reduction in production is technological in nature and was implemented to prevent storage tank overflows and maintain the stable operation of oil-producing enterprises, the ministry explained.
The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan is conducting consultations with CPC management, major shippers, shipowners, and government authorities to facilitate the prompt resumption of safe Kazakh oil exports to global markets.
