Kazakhstan MFA rejects claims of drone launches against Russia

Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has stated that news claiming the country's territory was used for attacks on targets in Russia is not true.

According to Report's Kazakhstan bureau, the ministry issued an official statement stressing that such allegations are unfounded and not supported by any information or facts: "The Kazakh MFA responsibly declares that these claims are not true and are not confirmed by any data or facts."

The ministry described these reports as baseless claims aimed at distorting the traditionally friendly nature of Kazakhstan–Russia relations, which are developing in the spirit of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.

It further emphasized that Kazakhstan consistently pursues a peaceful, balanced, and responsible foreign policy based on the principles of good neighborliness, mutual respect, and non‑interference in the internal affairs of states.

The MFA underscored that Kazakhstan's territory, airspace, and infrastructure cannot be used for actions directed against other states.

The ministry also called on media representatives and others to rely only on verified facts and to refrain from spreading false information.

These remarks refer to news in several media outlets alleging that drones were launched from Kazakhstan's territory to attack targets in Russia.
