Istanbul hosts opening of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Memorial House-Museum

On the occasion of the centennial anniversary of adopting the Turkish national anthem (March of Independence), the author of the state attribute Mehmet Akif Ersoy's Memorial House-Museum was opened in Istanbul.
According to the Turkish bureau Report, the House-Museum's opening, located in the Istanbul district of Beyoğlu, was attended by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
The Memorial House Museum features works, memoirs, and poems belonging and dedicated to Mehmet Akif and his photographs and personal belongings.
The house where the poet spent the last years of his life is considered one of the places of residence that played an essential role in the life and work of Mehmet Akif Ersoy.
