The issue of suspending Armenia's voting rights in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) may be considered at the organization's summit in Moscow on November 11, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said in an interview with TASS.
"Yerevan's refusal to participate in the organization's work and its failure to sign annual decisions concerning its budget means only that it is not exercising a right available to it. However, this does not exempt Armenia from its obligations to transfer its national membership contribution on time," Galuzin said.
According to the Russian deputy foreign minister, the CSTO Charter is an international treaty and must be implemented by all of its participants, including the obligation of each member state to finance the activities of the organization"s bodies.
