IDF strike hits oil storage facility in Iran - UPDATED

A recent strike by the Israel Defense Forces on Iran targeted an energy infrastructure facility, according to Israeli media, cited by Report.
An Israeli official said the strike hit an oil storage facility.
Meanwhile, The Times of Israel, citing an IDF spokesperson, reported that the facility is located in Mahshahr in southwestern Iran.
The Israel Defense Forces has carried out airstrikes against military targets in central and western parts of Iran, according to a statement released by the Israeli military.
According to Report, the operation was conducted by the Israeli Air Force and targeted military facilities in the two regions.
Meanwhile, Axios, citing a US official, reported that the strikes were "relatively limited" in scope.
