Ishaq Dar, Abbas Araghchi discuss implementation of US-Iran memorandum

Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed regional developments, the implementation of agreements reached between Tehran and Washington, and issues of bilateral cooperation.

According to the post of Pakistan's Foreign Ministry on X, cited by Report, the discussion took place during a telephone conversation between the two ministers.

According to the ministry, Dar congratulated Iran's leadership, government, and people on the signing of the memorandum with the United States.

He also wished success in the next stage of the negotiation process and expressed hope for its smooth continuation and positive outcomes.

For his part, Araghchi thanked Pakistan for its constructive and consistent mediation efforts, which played a role in advancing the negotiations.

At the conclusion of the conversation, the two sides emphasized the importance of continued engagement and agreed to maintain close contacts on issues of mutual interest.
