IS militants detained in Russia over attempted terror attack

An attempted terrorist attack by the ISIS terrorist group has been thwarted in the Russian city of Pyatigorsk, the local law enforcement bodies said in a statement.

Report informs, citing TASS, that the ISIS members who wanted to commit a terrorist attack were detained near the police station.

According to the information, those detained have admitted to the charges.

During the search in the terrorists' residences, the components and damaging elements, assembly schemes, symbols of the banned organization, confidential means of communication obtained for the preparation of the improvised explosive device were found and confiscated.
