IRGC announces new wave of strikes on Israel

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it has launched the 93rd wave of its operation dubbed True Promise – 4, targeting Israel.

According to a statement cited by Report, strikes hit four Israeli cities, targeting what the IRGC described as military points and combat support centers. The attacks were carried out using missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, the statement said.

The IRGC added that strikes on Israel would continue.

The escalation follows a joint military operation launched by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28. In response, Iran carried out missile strikes on Israeli territory and targeted US military bases in Gulf countries.

Amid the tensions in the Middle East, several countries in the region temporarily closed their airspace. On the same day, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in strikes carried out by the United States and Israel.

Earlier, reports said Washington had presented Tehran with a 15-point plan aimed at resolving the conflict in the region.
