Iranian FM condemns latest US strikes in call with Pakistan army chief

Iran has warned the United States against new military adventurism and said it is ready to firmly resist any threat to the country's territorial integrity, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during a phone call with Pakistan's army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Report informs.

The sides discussed the latest developments in the region and exchanged views on current issues.

Araghchi emphasized the determination of the Iranian people and the country's armed forces to protect Iran's sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security, and condemned the latest US strikes on Iran.

He also said statements by US officials about non-compliance with the memorandum of understanding showed that Washington itself had violated its commitments and was continuing its policy of escalation.
