Iranian defense minister says Israel main source of threat in region

Iran has always wanted peace and stability to be established in the region, but this should not mean accepting all conditions or imposing the will of the other side by force, Iranian Defense Minister Sardar Majid ibn al-Reza said, Report informs.

He made the remarks during a phone conversation with his Malaysian counterpart, Mohamed Khaled Nordin.

"The main source of threat is Israel," he said.

The Malaysian defense minister, for his part, stressed that his country stands with Iran to help establish global peace and security, and emphasized the importance of developing cooperation between the two countries.
