Iranian, Armenian FMs meet in Geneva

Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian have met on the sidelines of the 52nd regular session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Report informs via Iranian news agency IRNA.
The ministers discussed issues of mutual interest. No other details of the meeting were disclosed.
The session will be held from February 27 to April 4. It will be the longest since the formation of the HRC in 2006. Issues related to combating racial discrimination and violence against children, the situation of persons with disabilities, and ensuring the right to food and development will be discussed.
Representatives of 47 member countries will also discuss the situation in Ukraine, Afghanistan and Syria.
