Iran warns it could strike US bases in Middle East

Iran could target US military bases in the Middle East if Iranian vessels come under attack, the country's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said.

According to Report, citing IRIB, the military command said the US military had threatened to target three Iranian oil tankers.

It warned that any attack on Iranian vessels would trigger retaliation.

The command said Iran's Armed Forces would respond by targeting US bases and interests in the region.
