Iran says IRGC struck US bases in Bahrain and Kuwait

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said its naval and aerospace forces carried out joint missile and drone strikes on US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait, according to a statement broadcast by Iranian state television.

The IRGC claimed the operation targeted key facilities and infrastructure at the Ali Al Salem and Camp Arifjan bases in Kuwait, as well as the Al Jufair and Sheikh Isa installations in Bahrain. The statement said the strikes were launched shortly after what it described as US attacks on multiple locations inside Iran.

The IRGC also warned that if the United States launches further attacks, Iran will expand its response to include additional US military bases across the Middle East.

The claims have not been independently verified, and there was no immediate confirmation from US, Bahraini, or Kuwaiti authorities.
