Iran's interior minister contracts coronavirus

Iran's Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli has tested positive for coronavirus, Report informs, citing Sahar.
The minister was reportedly hospitalized in Tehran.
The Iranian Health Ministry has confirmed 25,582 COVID-19 infections and 304 deaths due to the disease in the past 24 hours.
Health Ministry Spokesperson Sima Lari announced that the number of total coronavirus cases in the country has reached 2,143,794, with the death toll standing at 65,359.
According to Lari, 4,539 patients are in critical condition while 1,739,002 patients have recovered.
So far, close to 14 million tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases.
