Iran's foreign minister calls for de-escalation between India, Pakistan

Upon his arrival in Islamabad, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized the need for reducing tensions between India and Pakistan and highlighted the importance of regional stability, Report informs via Iran Press.
"We seek to reduce tensions between India and Pakistan," Araghchi stated.
He added, "During this trip, we will have close consultations with friends in Pakistan, and I am scheduled to meet with the President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of Pakistan to review regional issues."
