Ilia Darchiashvili: Importance of our region in terms of communications is increasing

"Taking into account the processes taking place in the world, the importance of our region in terms of communications is increasing," Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said at a joint briefing with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, Report informs.
He said he discussed the prospects of developing bilateral relations, strategic regional projects, and cooperation issues in transport and energy with the Turkish Foreign Minister.
The foreign minister said he appreciated Turkiye's support for the territorial integrity of Georgia.
"Turkiye's support of Georgia's foreign policy priorities is particularly important to us," he said.
