Hulusi Akar, Sergey Shoygu discuss current situation in northern Syria

Turkish National Defense Minister General Hulusi Akar and Russian Defense Minister General Sergei Shoigu discussed the current situation in northern Syria during a telephone conversation on November 24, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

The telephone conversation took place at the initiative of the Turkish side.

The ministers exchanged views on the implementation of the Black Sea Initiative on the transportation of grain and fertilizer from seaports of Ukraine.
