Hakan Fidan: Türkiye satisfied with progress in normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Türkiye is pleased with the progress achieved in the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, Report informs.
He said he and Lavrov also discussed the situation in the South Caucasus.
"We once again reaffirmed the importance of stability and regional cooperation, which the normalization process will bring to our region, and we are pleased to note the progress achieved between Azerbaijan and Armenia," he said.
Fidan emphasized that the peace that has been effectively established in the region is already being reflected in practical measures: "Expanding economic ties, including transport and trade routes, and developing cooperation based on the principle of mutual benefit in energy and logistics will form the foundation of regional stability. We are convinced of the importance of resolving issues in the South Caucasus through dialogue and cooperation among the countries of the region and their immediate neighbors. The 3+3 regional cooperation platform is crucial in this regard."
