Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said establishing peace and political stability in Syria and Iraq would help accelerate economic growth across the region.
According to Haber Global, cited by Report, Fidan said restoring stability across Syria and Iraq would make a significant contribution to the development of the region's peoples and countries.
"When there is peace and security in Syria and Iraq, the peoples and countries of the region can move forward in an environment of peace, stability and development. We need this," Fidan said.
He said greater political stability and security in Syria and Iraq, together with Türkiye's efforts, would help unlock the region's economic potential.
Fidan added that, alongside reforms in Türkiye, regional policies and closer cooperation would play a major role in driving economic growth.
