Grigoryan and Larijani discuss outcomes of US–Azerbaijan–Armenia Summit in Washington

Secretary of Armenia"s Security Council Armen Grigoryan informed Secretary of Iran"s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani about the documents signed on August 8 in Washington with the participation of the leaders of the US, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.

Report informs via Armenian media that Grigoryan, in particular, explained the principle under which the unblocking of economic infrastructure in the region would be carried out.

Larijani, in turn, welcomed the agreements aimed at establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing the importance of ensuring stability and security in the South Caucasus.

A Joint Declaration was signed by the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia at the Washington summit, while the foreign ministers of the two countries also initialed an Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations, as well as signed an appeal to the OSCE regarding the dissolution of the Minsk Group and its related institutions.
