Georgian PM highlights importance of US presence in region

"It is time to strengthen Georgia-US cooperation and partnership, as well as expand the US presence in the region," Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said during a meeting with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

According to Report's local bureau, he said there were good opportunities for deepening cooperation between the two countries in the fields of defense, security, economy, and democracy.
