Georgian parliament to establish Investigation commission on Mikheil Saakashvili

A temporary commission of investigation may be set up in the Georgian parliament to investigate possible violations of the rights of former President Mikheil Saakashvili.
According to Report, the relevant initiative of the opposition faction "United National Movement - Strength in Unity" was considered at a meeting of the bureau of the legislature.
According to the decision, the issue will be discussed at a plenary session of parliament.
The idea of establishing an investigation commission belongs to Saakashvili. The former head of state claimed that his rights were violated, and he was tortured, and humiliated during his transfer from Rustavi Prison to Tbilisi Prison Hospital.
