Georgian, Kazakh FMs discuss Middle Corridor development

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili has discussed the development of the Middle Corridor and strengthening bilateral cooperation with her Kazakh counterpart, Yermek Kosherbayev.
According to Report, citing Georgia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks were held in Astana.
The sides emphasized the importance of establishing a strategic partnership between Georgia and Kazakhstan during Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze's upcoming visit to Kazakhstan. They noted that this would mark a new stage in bilateral relations and create additional opportunities for expanding comprehensive cooperation.
The ministers highlighted the need to support dialogue at high and top political levels. "The parties discussed prospects for the future development of bilateral relations. Special attention was given to cooperation in promoting the Middle Corridor and strengthening trade and economic ties between Georgia and Kazakhstan," the Georgian MFA stated.
